Proceeds from the Christmas Fantasy House will benefit the Ronald McDonald House® located in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin.
The mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Eastern Wisconsin is to keep families together and promote the health and well-being of children. Since 1984, the staff and 350+ volunteers have provided the comforts of home and a community of support for nearly 52,000 families facing the unthinkable – traveling far from home so that their sick or injured child can receive critical medical treatment.
RMHC® Eastern WI provides comfortable beds, warm meals, therapeutic programming and other special touches to help make the most difficult days a little easier for their guests. It’s what you can’t see, though, that really makes a difference for families – the community and lifelong relationships that provide hope when times are uncertain. It costs just over $115 per night for a family stay. The House recommends a $20 per night donation, but no family is ever turned away if they are unable to contribute.
This mission reaches beyond the bricks and mortar of the House with a Ronald McDonald Family Room® on the Oconomowoc campus of Rogers Behavioral Health and brings cheer to patients and families at Children’s Wisconsin via the Happy Wheels Hospitality Cart Program.
